About the service

Our Window AC gas filling service is for ACs that are running but giving low cooling, slow cooling, or no cooling due to refrigerant loss. We perform a proper leak check, vacuuming, and precise refrigerant charging so your AC cools efficiently again without stressing the compressor.

This service is suitable for all major Window AC capacities such as 0.75 ton, 1 ton, 1.5 ton, and 2 ton, and supports refrigerant types like R22, R32, and R410A depending on your model.

Use this service when you notice:

  • AC running but air is not cold

  • Cooling is weak even after cleaning

  • Ice forming on the coil

  • AC takes too long to cool a normal room

  • Cooling drops after a few minutes

Our process

1. Cooling and fault verification
The technician checks your Window AC performance. airflow, temperature drop, compressor cycling, and coil condition. This confirms whether the issue is low gas or another fault like fan, capacitor, or PCB trouble.

2. Leak inspection
With power off, the technician inspects joints, valves, indoor coil, outdoor coil, and copper lines for oil marks, corrosion, or damage. If a major leak or coil rust is found, you are informed before gas work starts.

3. Pressure testing (if required)
If leakage is suspected but not visible, the system is pressure tested using the correct method to locate hidden leaks. Necessary minor joint fixes are done before filling.

4. Deep vacuuming
A vacuum pump is connected to remove air and moisture from the refrigerant circuit. This step is critical for stable cooling and compressor safety. Skipping vacuum leads to weak cooling and early compressor failure.

5. Refrigerant charging as per rating
Gas is filled based on AC tonnage, gas type, and manufacturer specification. Charging is done using gauges and correct pressure/temperature standards. Where possible, charging is matched to factory weight.

6. Final cooling test
The AC is restarted and tested. The technician checks outlet temperature, coil behavior, compressor ampere draw, noise, and overall cooling stability. You get a clear update on results and next steps if any additional issue remains.

What we need from you

Frequently asked questions

Q1. Will gas filling fix low cooling permanently
If there is no active leak, gas filling restores cooling for a long time. If the coil or joints are leaking, you will need leak repair. Repeated gas filling without fixing leaks is a waste of money.

Q2. Is leak repair included in this service
Minor joint tightening or sealing may be included. Major leak repair, brazing, or coil replacement is extra and will be quoted after inspection.

Q3. Which refrigerant gas will be used
We use only the manufacturer specified gas. R22 for older units, R32 or R410A for newer units. We do not mix gases.

Q4. How long does Window AC gas filling take
Usually 45 to 90 minutes per unit, depending on leak checking and access.

Q5. How do I know if my AC needs gas filling
If cleaning does not improve cooling, and the AC shows symptoms like weak air, ice on coil, or long runtime, low gas is likely. Final confirmation is done by technician readings.
