About the service

Our Split AC Uninstallation for 2 AC units is for customers who want to safely remove two Split ACs in a single visit. This service covers 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton Split ACs, inverter and non inverter, of any brand.

We carefully remove the indoor units, outdoor units and interconnecting pipes so that your ACs, walls, wiring and brackets remain as safe as possible. This is ideal when you are shifting to a new place, doing renovation or replacing old Split ACs with new systems.

Our process

1. Pre uninstallation inspection for both ACs
The technician checks each AC separately. indoor mounting, outdoor position, pipe routing, drain line and wiring path, plus tonnage (1 ton, 1.5 ton or 2 ton). This helps plan a safe removal method for both units.

2. Power isolation and safety
Power is switched off from the main switch or MCB that controls both ACs. The technician confirms no live power at the AC terminals before touching any electrical connections.

3. Pump down or gas recovery where possible
If the systems are in working condition and valves are accessible, the technician may perform pump down on each AC. Refrigerant is collected inside the outdoor unit before disconnecting pipes. If an AC is already gasless or has severe leakage, this step may be skipped.

4. Disconnecting indoor units and drain lines
Indoor covers are opened for both ACs. Drain pipes, copper pipes and wiring are disconnected carefully. Mounting screws and wall brackets are loosened. Indoor units are removed from the wall without rough pulling to avoid plaster damage.

5. Disconnecting outdoor units and pipes
Outdoor power and control wiring are disconnected. Copper pipes are disconnected or cut at suitable points. Each outdoor unit is removed from wall brackets or floor stands and brought down safely, which is especially important for heavier 1.5 ton and 2 ton units.

6. Basic clean up and handover
Pipes, indoor units, outdoor units, remotes and loose parts are collected and handed over to you in one place. Window or wall area is left neat within reasonable limits. Full civil restoration is not included.

• Clear access to indoor and outdoor units of both ACs

• MCB or switch access to turn off power

• Ladder or safe access if any outdoor unit is mounted at height

• If shifting, keep basic packing material or transport support ready

• Let the technician know if any unit is very old, rusted or previously tampered

Q2. Can the two ACs be in different rooms
Yes. As long as both ACs are at the same address and accessible in one visit, they can be in different rooms.

Q3. Will you reinstall the ACs in a new location
No. This booking is only for uninstallation. You need to book a separate Split AC Installation service for the new location.

Q4. Will you remove wall brackets and repair the walls
Brackets can be loosened or removed if required. However full wall repair, plaster work or painting is not included.

Q5. What happens to the gas while uninstalling
If possible, the technician will pump down refrigerant into the outdoor unit before disconnecting. If the AC was already leaking or dead, gas may not be recoverable.

Q6. How long does uninstallation of 2 Split ACs take
Typically 60 to 120 minutes, depending on height, routing, rust and access.
