2. Power shutdown and safety

  • Switch off the power supply

  • Disconnect MCB or isolator if required

  • Confirm no live current before touching wires

3. Gas handling and piping disconnection

Floor standing ACs include heavy-duty compressors.

  • Technician checks for safe pressure

  • Seals gas lines without opening refrigerant circuit

  • Carefully disconnects copper pipes, drain lines and wiring

  • Ensures no bending damage to piping or fittings

(If gas recovery or advanced handling is required, charges apply separately.)

4. Indoor and outdoor coil disengagement

In most tower ACs, both coils are housed in one unit. Technician removes.

  • Civil works. painting. concealed piping. false ceiling work. unless listed in the service.
  • Drain choke caused by building plumbing beyond AC drain.
  • Leaks from coils or piping that require replacement. unless you approve the paid repair.
