About the service

Our Cassette AC Uninstallation for 2 AC units service is for homes, offices, clinics, salons, shops, gyms and showrooms where you want to safely remove two ceiling cassette ACs in a single visit.

This covers 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton cassette ACs of any brand. The technician properly shuts down both systems, disconnects indoor cassettes, outdoor units, copper piping, drain lines and cables, and leaves the area neat so you can shift, store or replace the ACs without damage.

Best for.

  • Shifting two cassette ACs to a new house or office

  • Removing ACs before false ceiling or interior renovation

  • Replacing old cassette ACs with new energy efficient models

  • Clearing ACs from rented or commercial property before handover

Our process

1. Pre uninstallation inspection for both ACs
The technician checks each unit separately.

  • Cassette AC tonnage. 1 ton, 1.5 ton or 2 ton

  • Indoor cassette location and ceiling access

  • Outdoor unit positions. wall, balcony, terrace or stand

  • Route of copper pipes, drain pipes and interconnecting cables

  • Power supply, MCB and isolator for each system

This helps plan a clean and safe removal for both cassette ACs.

2. Power off and safety
Both systems are switched off from the remote or controller, then turned off from the MCB or isolator.
The technician confirms there is no live power before handling wiring or units.

3. Indoor cassette disconnection . AC 1 and AC 2

For each cassette unit.

  • Front panel and filters are removed carefully

  • Access is taken to drain tray, drain connection and pipe joints

  • Drain pipe is disconnected and remaining water is drained into a bucket

  • Interconnecting cable is disconnected and labelled if needed

Indoor units are then unhung from rods or brackets and lowered safely with proper support.

4. Outdoor unit disconnection for both ACs

For each outdoor unit.

  • Power is confirmed off

  • Interconnecting cable is disconnected

  • Drain extensions if any are removed

  • Outdoor unit is unbolted from bracket or stand and shifted to the place you specify

5. Copper piping handling

Based on your future plan and practical access.

  • Copper pipes are disconnected at indoor and outdoor ends

  • Lines may be capped or left ready if you plan re installation

  • Piping is handled carefully to avoid damage to walls or structure

Standard uninstallation focuses on removal, not new routing or fresh copper work.

6. Area clean up and handover

The technician.

  • Wipes any visible water or dirt around both cassette locations

  • Keeps indoor units, outdoor units, brackets, screws, drain pipes and remotes together in one place

  • Shares a quick note on the condition of each AC and what was removed

What we need from you
  • Safe ladder or platform access to both indoor cassette units

  • Permission and access to both outdoor unit locations

  • MCB or main switch access to cut power to both systems

  • Space to keep two cassette units, two outdoor units and accessories after removal

  • Your instruction on whether units are for shifting, storage, reuse or scrap

Frequently asked questions

Q1. Is this service valid for all cassette AC brands
Yes. It covers most 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton cassette ACs from common residential and commercial brands.

Q2. Will you repair or close the false ceiling after removal
No. We safely remove the units and leave openings accessible. False ceiling framing, patching, POP or painting must be done by your interior or civil team.

Q3. Can you reinstall these two cassette ACs at our new location
This booking is only for uninstallation of 2 units. For setup at the new site, you will need a separate Cassette AC Installation service.

Q4. What happens to the refrigerant gas inside the AC
In standard uninstallation we do not open the sealed refrigeration circuit. Gas stays inside the system. If you need formal gas recovery, it is a separate specialised job and must be discussed in advance.

Q5. How long does cassette AC uninstallation for 2 units take
Usually 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on ceiling height, outdoor access and pipe routing.

Q6. Can you also remove indoor and outdoor brackets
Yes. Removal of indoor hanging hardware and outdoor brackets or stands can be done if accessible. Wall repair, plaster and painting are not included.

Q7. Can both cassette ACs be in different rooms
Yes. As long as both units are at the same address and accessible in one visit, they can be in different rooms or different sides of the same floor.
